Heres the thing about couches (and shoes) ... you need something that fits.
Sure, you might see a cool sofa online, but unless you go in, check it out for size, and seat cushiness, its kinda pointless.

Find a furniture store in your area, and go test sitting. Stretch out on it. How does the armrest feel under your head? Fabric suit your lifestyle? Does it sag in the middle (prime gameplay position)?

Who knows, you might find a counch even cooler than the one Kevin has (I know mine it).

Other advice I'd give is:
1. A futon is not a couch. They are a shitty compromise asa bed, they are a shitty compromise as a sofa.
2. Convertible sofas suck unless you want to pay big bucks. They are OK out of the showroom, but will sag and get uncomfortable where the mechanism is over time.
3. Get is scotchguarded. No matter how careful you are, you - or a mate - will spill something on it.

I know this first hand to be 100% true.
they break fast mattress wears out fast bars poke your spine.
Sadly I had to deal with this for years as was never able to afford to replace it until my mom sold the house and I was able to move in my own apt,as a gift she bought me a real bed,it was the best thing ever.

Our couch/sofa/armchair set is black Italian leather, and not that bonded stuff. It's held up and is insanely comfy. Great for having animals because it doesn't get messed up. Just an occasional polish.

I agree that you need to go in and check out a piece of furniture like this before buying. You may like it softer or firmer, may or may not like the quality of fabric, etc..

Let me tell you something pal... my brother brought it over while I was at work yesterday. I got home, stripped and tested the mother out.... it was a ball-hugger's paradise.

Not only that, but my brother left me an early birthday present, the Watchmen graphic novel. This is pretty sweet, because I've never had my own copy.

The only downside to the evening, was while I fell asleep on my new-used couch, I think my cat might have taken advantage of me... I think he's still upset because I started calling him Mr. Belvedere... god damn that magnificent fatso.... my cat, not Mr. Belvedere.
