I know some of you guys have this...
I'm about to fight the final boss in the Zora temple but had to run out to work. It'll have to wait till I return to Laura's this weekend. I think keeping the Wii at her place is definitely a good way to keep myself from losing all productivity. Last night the Punchline guys and I had a WiiSports party that was E-P-I-C. Big tournament throwdown.
But THE game is Zelda. Let's talk about it and definitely watch the spoilers!

There is no way to describe the perfection that is Zelda. Although I feel like the dungeons and temples get more linear the farther you go into the game, it is still an amazing game that definitely deserves another play through to collect and see everything. My biggest problem is with the weapons. There is nothing new. everything has been taken from other Zelda games. I loved how in OoT everything was cool and there were many puzzles to take advantage of the different arrows, boots, etc. But in TP, basically everything is Arrow-centric. If that's a flaw, thats the only one in my opinion.

How can anyone choose those crappy PS3 launch titles over ****ing Zelda?!
Twilight Princess is supposed to be one of the best games ever!

And it is. I hear the complaint about the weapons. When I got the Shothook I was like "waitaminute! they just changed the name from OoT!". But looking out onto the vast fields and mountains... it's staggering.

If you ask me, graphics doesn't have to get any better than they are now. Just try and get that gameplay thing right please.

The Wiimote is the best the gameplay has ever been. It's so natural to me. Then again, I spend my weekends with Graham as a Larper swinging swords anyways...

That's exactly why I went with a Wii. Flashy graphics are nice and all, but if the game isn't fun it doesn't matter. I've had my Wii for 2 days and just about all I did yesterday was play Zelda.

Well, while I think that, I'm talking about Gears of War graphics. Because... graphics CAN improve gameplay.
Look at how light is was used in the first splinter cell game for example.

Speaking of graphics and da Drome. I think something is messed up with the graphics on that show, cause god damn, nobody can be that ugly.

I've only been able to put about an hour a day into this game so I'm way behind, not to mention the Wii Sensor bar was dead until last Friday. But I love it, especially all the little stuff they added, such as horseback fighting and chicken, and the sumo has been fun, too. And I can't wait until I get to the fishing hole.

I'm about 8 hours into it now, I'm liking the whole Twilight world business. I'm waiting for some serious story elements to come into play, hoping that it's not just a carbon copy of OoT (the whole howling business has made me start to think that it'll take heavily from OoT in gameplay aspects).

I'm tired of watching people play the tutorial...I'm just saying. Next time someone comes over and wants to start a new game, just say, "NO!".

I beat TP about... 3 days ago.
Took me 40 hours.
I did many of the side quests, not all, but alot.
It is a fantastic game, just effing incredible.
I don't agree that people say it is as good as OoT, MM, and WW combined, I just think it greatly compliments all of the Zelda series.
One thing I love about the whole Zelda series is that every kill is very satisfying.
I wish I could type forever about all the wonderous things about the series but unfortunately I'm a little tired.
I will tell you all though to check out this fantastically made retrospective on all the Zelda games including a well thought out theory on the continuity of the whole series.

I suggest any fans out there watch it.
And believe me, you're welcome.

I have been trying to apply to colleges the past couple weeks so I'm a little far behind. I just recently beat the forest temple dungeon, and I am enjoying this game a lot. Occasionally though i do feel that the camera sorta gets in the way... like I'll be trying to attack something but the camera will be stuck facing the side of the mountain... anyone experience that...? But besides that I'm loving it.

So, I did it, I got a Wii. Wasn't no sucker standing in line, either. Got mine the good old fashioned way: had a friend buy 2 :)
Anyways. He got Zelda... I didn't. It's sold out. Everywhere.
So, I've played like 7 hours of Wii Sports. How I want Zelda. I played the very beginning on his Wii and it was amazing.
Any other games worth buying in the meantime? Seriously, it's sold out EVERYWHERE by me.

I've been wanting to try out Rapala (sp?) Fishing, but there are no reviews anywhere for this. It was supposed to be a launch title, and from what I can tell it was, but I can't find it anywhere. Maybe you can be a tester for the community and let us know how it is. I want to get it for my Dad.

Raving Rabbids and Call of Duty are alright, neither are GREAT, but will definately hold you over if you like those types of games. STAY AWAY FROM RED STEEL

I think so. And I say think because I just finished getting the mirror, and have just under 40 hours, and TravisOnPhonics says it took him 40 hours. But I've also been reading around the internet and most places say the game takes closer to 70-80 hours, so basically, I don't really know. And why would you want such an awesome time to end. :)
