This looks like it could be good. Never read the novel, wouldn't it take like 10 years anyway cause it's so huge.

I really like the novel, I read it in high school after the mini-series was on TV. I'll probably buy this too.

Its a good novel, it also ties into - though tangentally - the Dark Tower series.

I remember watching The Stand TV movie years ago with my mom and us nearly dying of laughter when the hand of God set off a nuke in Las Vegas.

started the book last summer actually but put it down for others...since I havent seen the movie or TV Series..this might be kinda cool...only after I have finished the book..if only there wasnt so much else to read, i might be able to finish this odyssey.

Did anyone read "The Gunslinger" series that was recently released? Im assuming that it is still going though. I thought it was very good and hopefully the same team will be doing this.

bought it this weekend, hardcover, but haven't started it yet. working on some others 1st.

I read it, and it is being done in a grouping of mini-series. Its been a very good interpretation of the story. I doubt it will be the same team, however.
It's not, I saw some preview art. Not Jae Lee.
