Hi
I noticed on Digg that there is a meetup set for October 2008 in London at a bar next to the Excel Convention Centre. Just wondering if this is an indication of a possible live Diggnation show if Kevin is in attendance? Also, one in Paris later in the year.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Brilliant hope to catch it this time round. How do you know they will be doing a diggnation have they posted anything about it? Also is there a possible date set for it?

How do I get to sit in at the live diggnation?
I would prefer to not spend £395.00 on a Conference 2 day pass. Am I missing something?

The conference did cost money, but the live diggnation AFTER it was free last time. They stressed this in the shows leading up to the live show, so I imagine it would be the same this time around.

From what I've heard, you will need a £5 expo pass to see the show but that's it!
I think I'm gonna travel down from Manchester to see it! Can't wait :)
However, I'm not sure about the after party at the moment, my friend has contacted them but is still waiting for a reply...
Unfortunately, if the expo pass doesn't get you into the after party, then the web price for tickets is £395 :( (the student tickets have also sold out!!) - So on top of accommodation/travel fees, it would be a VERY hefty price ... especially if like me you only want to see diggnation and get into the after party!
oh and diggnation starts at 7.30pm, followed by the digg meet up at 8.30!
According to the email they sent out today, the "FOWA wrap/Digg meetup sponsored by our friends at Facebook is open to all attendees though free drinks are for conference attendees only."
"Diggnation are filming a live episode on the 10th Oct, and the good news is that this is open to all attendees including expo pass holders! Beer will be provided by the guys at Google to conference attendees but you can also purchase beer at the bars from 4pm both days."

Yeh thanks for the info! Sounds like you will need to pay the £5, but that's nothing really.
I don't mind that I have to pay for drinks either! I just hope they let us in the after party!
For anyone who went last year: Did they let you in the after party for free?
