Although I have loved the broken since the beginning, I do not see them doing another episode anytime soon. So I started out to try and create my own show. The first episode is a little sketchy but it will get better with time. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Looks like it could be decent and turn into something great.
From the 15 seconds I watched it, you could use better lighting.
I'll watch the full ep later and let you know what I think could be improved.
e-propz on starting your own show though.
this guy is such a hack...hack of 'the broken'
not only is their show called the direct opposite of the broken ('the fixed'), the name makes no sense. Am i going to learn how to install drms on my music and do the exact opposite of hacking.
props for creating another show...but no props minus 1 for hacking the broken crew.
cant wait till the broken get time to do another.

I don't really see how you can say that they are a "hack" of the broken. Two different shows, and right now do we even know if the broken will have another episode?
The Fixed is a mediocore name, I'll admit, but it's their name.
Looking forward to seeing their next episode.

your trying to tell me that the fact that he made a show about hacking called it 'the fixed' and posted it here makes him not a 'hack'.
the next thing you know his nick is going to be "the light tipper", his name will be devon tulip in the show, and will drink 40oz english leather.

.M. - yes, we get that "TheFixed" is a blatant ripoff of "thebroken", but how is his site the same as Rev3?? Because it is hosted off a web server?
Seriously, with all the "plead the fif" posts, and suggestions for hacks that you pop into that thread, you aren't actually producing anything except white noise.
These guys are actually getting off their asses and putting together a show instead of *****ing and moaning that "thebroken" comes out once every 17 months.
The choice of title *was* stupid, and will get them slammed at every turn by comparing them to "thebroken", but it is new content.
How about something positive to say? As a first episode, what could they do to improve it? Oh ... let me guess, you didn't watch it.

no i dont even want to waste my time watching it cause it looks too much like a hackoff already.
But if you read the posts on digg plenty have already mentioned that it is a knockoff.
i am not pissing and moaning about the broken crews eps nor trying to create white noise...I am simply trying to give ideas about a show in a a topic thread and hoping others will do the same. if you give people what they want they will be commited forever and there will be no need to go to other people for a simple online ep.

Thank God you managed to avoid the pain of forming your own opinion by following the legion of Digg sheeple.
Try watching the show - forget about the title for a minute - and come back with some comments.

But, as for the criticism about ripping off a couple of tuts ... yeah maybe, but that is all the SYSTM and thebroken did as well. No original hacks there either.
I shouldn't be defending these guys, but they are making an effort.

Hey this is me (jus1haz2) my old account was banned because I was spamming. I didn't know if I should post my topic in "The Broken" or in "General" so i posted in both.. ><
As for the first episode i know it was crappy, but was shot in 2 hours and we need a better camera (have one now)
As for my part (the rainbow table) I know there are many different ways to do it
1 ophcrack (would have been the fastest IMO)
2. Backtrack (would have been ba)
3. alot more programs
I chose to do it a different way just because it hadn't been done that way very much (in online videos etc) and yes it took a long ass time...
I see that most ppl liked the phone thing alot more so that prolly should have been in the beginning of the episode.
As for the name... The idea i had, started off as a parody, but I was hella busy with school and work that I just started a new show.
For my site justinhazen.com its not meant to look like rev3 at all. Its just a template I found and uploaded it because i didnt like my old template. I wanted to change my site around after it got about 180,000 hits from the pop machine hack that was on the front page of digg, engadget and some others. (I only put it on digg.) (On a side not always watermark your videos, that thing got posted on so many different sites. Most of the sites had a watermark of www.yikers.com lol {bastards})

Also, I really like the show. You guys want to do it monthly, so more material is gonna come in and make it a not-rip-off (In everyone elses sense). If you want to say so. I mean come on. The first episode of DougTv, The Assembled, The Unforgiving, Teh_Show, etc were rip-offs of The Broken.
This show doesn't even look or feel like it at all. Hell, all iptv shows today follow similar formats. I mean, go watch an episode of The-Glitch and The Broken back to back. Sure, the names are similar and they all sit on a couch at some point, but thats where the line it. Every show has its on style and I didn't see any way The Fixed imposed on The Broken at all. They are seperate. Are all talk shows just copies off of each other? NO! The hosts have their own personalities that set them apart.

In the very beginning of the show (when it was still a thought) I thought of making it a complete parody of the show. Chuck a nice laptop, then jump into an audi (instead of some ford) and drink tea instead of 40z. But the first take on it was stupid and so was the second. We also talked about our coke hack in those pre-episodes but I wasn't happy with it so we didn't ever put it on the site.
I wasnt really "happy" with the episode1 some of you guys watched, but I didnt have much of a choice (We tried for 3 weeks to get together and film) So after the first time we filmed it, i stopped caring all that much and put it on the site in order to see what people thought of it.
Hey did any of you see the coke machine hack? It was really weird my mom came home one day (she is a teacher) and asked me what was on my site, apparently one of her students parents asked her if her son had a site that told people how to hack pop machines. i was like LMFAO!... maybe....
