Need Help Removing Background

Would somebody please remove the white background on this image for me? I don't know much about photoshop and tried doing it myself with the magic wand tool but I really didn't know what I was doing and it came out crappy.

I would appreciate it if you did it for me instead of telling me how to because I am kind of pressed for time. Feel free to tell me what you did so I know in the future but also do it for me. Thanks!

Basically, you aren't "removing" the white background, you are setting it to be "transparent" - so that anything behind it will show through. GIFs are the easiest to do this with, but other formats will let you do it as well.

there's probably a better way to do it, but magic eraser @ 32 tolerance and lasso the stray white pixels

you can click on the white and then use the select dropdown menu and choose similar
It should capture all the white.

And like Tokenuser says, you can make it transparent gif or a PNG
