Hey all I have a question for some DCU fans out there. Since Identiy Crisis years ago I have really gotten into the DCU. I was always a marvel guy but for a few years now I have been more of a DC guy. I have a question for every one though. I have a pretty good feel for the DCU as I have read my fair share of their book. I have read all the famous stories like Year One, The Legion Darkseid story, Dark Knight, and Watchmen my question is though I am really interested in the history of the DCU and was wondering if any one can give me some recommendations on Silver Age dcu stories. Like a run of Green Lantern, The Flash or The JLA from the 60 or 70's. I checked the recommendation thread and couldn't really find any thing. Sorry if I should have put this in the recommendation thread. Also the story doesn't have to be in trade I am looking to buy actual issues as well.

Start buying up the Archive and Showcase editions. They are rather complete. So you get everything Barry Allen Flash like from Showcase to whenever he died. And this is true of most collected editions of this sort. There are no proper trades of this stuff or very little in some cases.

Showcases, Archive Editions, Omnibi- this is where the Silver Age is entombed.
