I thought the launch was going to bring us a full online network with multiple weekly and daily vidcast dealing with "geek culture". Yet all I see every week is Diggnation, Geekdrome, and pixel perfect. Is this still due to a lack of funding or is it an issue with finding suitable content? I really wanted to see Rev3 launch with a bang and for it to be my main source of interesting shows. Yet I come here every week for the same exact thing as I did before the big re-launch: Diggnation, Geekdrome, and rarely a new episode of any other show. Any idea on when we are going to see some good content being pushed out more frequently as promised?

There was a new InDigital out today. Check it out. Also see what Martin is doing over at Infected.

If you can point us to the daily vidcasts you were promised (or was that something you were hoping for?), I'd like to see it.

I can't attest to any "daily vidcast"(I believe he was more meaning just regular programming), but let me pose this question... why did Revision 3 have a relaunch party if things weren't going to change? Why did they get investors if they weren't going to try to build this as an actual company?

I don't have a problem with the number of shows they have, and I've gotten used to the erratic release schedule of everything but Diggnation and Geekdrome... but I see it like this. I showed a friend of mine a couple Rev3 shows and he liked them. X days later I had to go tell him there were new episodes out. I'm not saying everything has to be released daily or weekly, but if they say, "InDigital will be out once a month on the first Monday" and force themselves to stick to SOME schedule(any schedule) then new visitors will KNOW when to come back. If I was new here today and saw InDigital and loved the show, and I check back for the next 2, 3, 4 weeks with no new episode, and no word from ANY staff as to when the next episode MIGHT be out, I'm probably just going to lose interest and stop coming at all. If Rev3 really is such a business as they like to act to be, they really need to start getting on themselves a little more. Something won't be released on schedule? No problem, take 5 seconds out of their day, make a post on the forums or update the main page saying "Sorry, show will be delayed X hours/days" and then there's no issue with them looking unprofessional, like they don't care about their customers, and it stops people from complaining. And they really owe it not only to themselves for the amount of work they do put into their shows, but to the people who pay for their product(s), those who donate to support the company, the companies that sponsor their shows, and those who have invested privately in this company.

I love Revision 3, but if it really is such a business that the staff and moderators say it is, then it's not unreasonable to expect a certain level of professionalism, even if the staple product is a show about two guys getting drunk and talking to each other.

I remember Kevin Rose hyping up the launch (maybe on twit?) saying that they will be following a regular schedule and will be launching new shows as soon as they could. Yet I have yet to see any progress toward reaching that goal. And yes indigital is out this week and yes infected is out every once in a while (both are shows that I watch) but they, just like on the "old" revision 3 come out irregularly and infrequently, especially indigital. The only difference between the old and the new seems to be a different paint job and one extra show. So much for a re-launch...

There are some good new shows. There could be more though!

Yeah, I was thinking about this too.

The only regular shows are:

Diggnation
Geekdrome (Update: nevermind)
Pixel perfect
infected

4
thats it

indigital is really good but not regular

ctrl alt chicken is good but they have not been doing any lately

system and the broken are great, but it obvious that they are no more

then there are weird shows, like notmtv, web drifter, and mysteries of science, these shows i dont like and they have not come out with new ones.

So it seems like the one new show is pixel perfect, which is really good and regular.

I want more

but the way it is,it just seems like it's got more of a personal and flawed human touch of kevin behind the wheel.

Yeah, thats what I like about like diggnation, they get off topic and joke around. Its a lot more entertaining.

I love gadgets and one of my fave Tech TV shows was Fresh Gear and Indigital is pretty much a clone and that def makes it my fave Rev 3 show..just wish it came out more frequent and on a scheduled time not just randomly.

With geekdrome now gone, Revision 3 is now completely down the tubes. It is now worse than it was before.

We need a BLAWG where behynd-teh-seenz information is posted. Show status' and things like that. While it's frustrating that great shows like indigital aren't released more frequently/regularly I think we would all just like to know why that is. Or maybe a blog section on the individual show pages that the cast and host of each show can optionally choose to write in. I understand that there are obstacles with doing all this stuff but we just get frustrated being left in the dark.

Maybe its time to quit understanding though. I really hate to pull the "Rebel Klitzy" but if they are going to call it a business than they should begin to act like one with released official schedules, updates, etc.

Then again, look at Microsoft and Sony...They are all about delayed releases and they are businesses.

*Klitzy holds up his shield to deflect any rocks thrown at him for calling Sony a business.

haha. They would never update it.Yeah,t hat's why I think the indivicual blogs are a better idea. Then just let the show hosts/cast members put up what information they want their viewers to know. I figure the people actually doing the show would be more likely to care about that sort of thing.

Lol, what happened to the 40 episodes of Mysteries of Science explained?!

I think they said this around Christmas last year.

All you people do is gripe and gripe!!

We should form a union and gripe in unison!!
hahahahaah

We can watch the shows they have to offer and give them time to produce and reorganize. Patience is a virtue.
