The Revision3Beta forum is for discussion of shows accepted to the Revision3 Farm Team. It is NOT a forum for people to advertise their own personal sites/shows.

If you have a show that you would like to submit for consideration, we encourage you to submit it @ the official Revision3Beta website (http://revision3beta.com/).

Thanks.

When do you expect shows to start appearing on R3B?

Submissions are coming in fast and furious... it would imagine it could be quite soon.. :) As far as a definitive date, I do not have one. Yeah. I know, it isn't much of an answer. :(

I don't think there is an age restriction... I'll check w/ the powers that be to be 100% sure.

Might be worth checking "child labour laws" - if you are purchasing shows (ie there is a financial transaction for the distribution of the show) they would need to be legal age to work and file taxes. 16??

So if our show actually becomes a show featured on the Revision3 website, would we get an awsome uhhh.......ummmm......What do you call it.......The show opener things designed by Eden Soto.

You'd probably have to pay to have an opening created for you. Nothing's free in life. =)

nextgenxbox, I would think they wouldn't charge people to make intros if the shows make it past beta.

Yeah, you're probably right. I misread that. I thought he meant if the show got onto the Beta site.

It it get's promoted to Rev3 then yeah, they'd probably help you tighten it up, which would include some nice motion graphics.

From what I heard, and I can't tell you from where, the creators are responsible for the vid from the first frame to the last, other than sponsor stuff, beta or not. eden soto is not on the rev3 payroll, he's a freelancer.

Any idea when the shows will start appearing on Rev3Beta.com?

How do shows get accepted to appear on Rev3.com? is it like a certain amount of views on the Beta site or something?

I remember hearing 100,000+ views/month. So if you're weekly Beta show pulls in 25k/week then it would get called up to Rev3.com

Don't remember where I heard this though so I could be 100% wrong, so don't quote me.

How come the site is down?
I typed in revision3beta.com and nothing came up
and when I searched it on yahoo and clicked on the site link, it said it does not exist.

Interesting...I saved the link as a fav weeks ago (after checking out the site) and just checked it again. Got the same "link is broken" error.

Wish someone would do a decent Anime show. I wouldn't mind seeing an MMO show either.

Are they still accepting new shows?
They should accept like one every month to keep it fresh.

Did you go to the Revision3Beta web site (linked in the first post)?

Nice big button ...

http://revision3beta.com/images/b_submit.gif

That takes you to a page that tells you what to do:

The Rules

Video Requirements
Please limit submissions to no longer than 5 minutes, but the show you pitch could be longer in length if accepted. Once you've uploaded your show, Revision3's expert content programming team will review your submission. If we're interested in developing your show, we'll contact you directly. Please do not inquire for a status of your submission, as we will not be able to follow up with everyone due to the volume of submissions.

File Requirements
You are allowed to upload file types AVI, DV, MOV, QT, MPG, MPG2, MPEG2, MPEG4, MP4, 3GP, 3G2, ASF, WMV, FLV. The file must be no larger than 500 MB.

Content
There's no limit to the type or style of shows Revision3 Beta is interested in. Anything will be considered, so long as it is engaging.

Its pretty clear.
