It's a good heads-up. I don't think that the topic should be closed, it could lead to some pretty good discussion, however I do think people should refrain from asking for Diggs in the future. It kind of cheapens the post.
There are un-ethical people in any community, what is unfortunate is that those people are often the most noticed, or most outspoken. I agree, it is things like this that give hackers and hacking a bad name, that is why it is important to teach people the difference between ethical hacking and scam artists. It's important to teach people that just because someone uses knowledge for ill intended purposes, does not make that knowledge itself wrong or detrimental.

marked as spam since you are only looking for post counts. this "hacking" is actaully cracking. the orginal hacking was using something in a creative way. but i guess this could be considered being creative. but i prefer hardware hacking like HaD stuff

Thanks for the extra definition of hacking.. im sure we all know what original hacking is and what penetration testing is and cracking as well as just Un-ethical behaviour like pasting personal credit card information on websites.
Btw what sort of HAD hacking do you do?

I'm going to leave this discussion unlocked for now, but in the future, let's refrain from making topics of our own Digg stories. It's unfair to others, and the workings of Digg to self-promote your own stories.

That's pretty cool. What level of school are we talking about here?
I have not gotten to play too much with cantennas, definately on my list of things to do, I was just explaining the concept to someone earlier today, and potential uses...

Are you the unlucky person of identity theft.
When I was 18, my ID was stolen. Seven years and tens of thosands of dollars later, I still occassionally have a problem. Right now I'm dealing with a speeding ticket in Texas. Too bad I've never been to Texas. I'd rather have my credit card info stolen than my entire ID again. I no longer use credit cards, nor any form of credit, use money orders for anything otherwise requiring a check (too easy to make a fake check using the info on the bottom), etc.. My own losses have gone much further. It's not a nice feeling literally watching over your shoulder all the time, trying to outrun an unknown jerk who won't leave you alone, getting a migraine when the DA calls to get your statement (over the phone, as they no longer care to investigate things) about a bad check written in your name in South Carolina (again, a place I've never been) to a pizza place for $400. Vigilance has become such a part of life that I no longer think twice about it. And it sickens me.
People who steal IDs should be skinned alive and dropped into a giant tub of salt. If someone chooses to attempt to ruin the life of someone else, to expose every aspect of their lives for investigation and force them to spend tons of money and time clearing things up and writing letters and everything, then that person should be harshly punished.
This is why I work in online anti-fraud.

I have friends who don't even know the name of the company I work for. Well, that's mainly because it's not dicussed since none of them have even the slightest interest in it.
But I keep where I work somewhat of a secret to prevent my own conduct from reflecting on my company. I'm 25, I sometimes do dumb things, and if I do, it's on me. So basically you can say I'm shielding my company from any potential repercussions of my potentially-dumb actions.
