I'm not an HP geek but I saw prisoner of azkaban again recently and made me wish I was. The trailer looks great.

Im not a fan of the Harry Potter movies but this movie looks weird, like it was filmed weird or something. or its just me.

I am such a little Harry Potter fangirl its not even funny! I'm really sad that this movie isn't going to be here for Christmas but I'm still excited that we at least get trailers :) It is true that the books are better, but anyone that has read the books would realize that it must be the most daunting task to making these wonderful and beloved books into movie form, where they are true to the story but also fitting it all into a watchable amount of time. None of the movies are perfect, in my opinion, but I love them anyway. Now I'm all geared up for book 7 (which is rumoured to be coming out in July 2007 as well... possibly 07/07/07) but I so crave the next book that I even read fanfiction (www.harrypotterfanfiction.com - the best stuff I've read so far is by TheQuibbler) yeah, I'm a total geek for this crap *holds up geek card* Sign me up for this movie, it looks awesome... *drools* lots 'o Sirius *drools*

The problem is, the books don't need to made into movies. I understand why you would make a Lord of the Rings movies.
But anyone who have read the books would know that it's impossible to capture what makes the Harry Potter books good, in a movie.
