I wouldn't compare them, just far too different a format. I watch the movie and wish there was more screen time of the regular cast members, and of course I miss the links, but I loved the 'filmy' look, well shot, budgeted 'stunts' etc. And it was just as funny.

Dude, put an empty glass bottle to your mouth - tip it slightly and in between frames, fill it up some, or just do a it regular and play it backwards if you can. The key is, holding the tilt at the same angle, and knowing what total amount of liquid can go in without running onto your face while it's tilted.
