View Full Version : Castle Crashers - 4 player massacre~
Pretty awesome game from what I played so far. I had the privilege of playing with Jeff and Steve along with Dan and Alex later on. The connection was a bit janky and we kept getting dropped but it was fun when there weren't any problems. I hope the Live issues will be resolved because everyone on my list was playing CC at the time so maybe the servers were a bit overloaded. dunno....

I cant seem to play online with it at all... i keep getting error messages saying "game no longer available" and it kicks me back to the title screen :(. I hope they fix this soon cause i've already finished the game by myself and need to crash castles with others.

yea, i read that it's a bug with the game and Behemoth is working on a patch. i hope it comes out soon cuz we had a few games where we didn't have any problems and it was so much fun.

Man this game is insanely fun in short bursts... not intended for long sessions

Was playing this with four friends last night and its a whole lot of awesome.
Castle crashers seems to both pay tribute to the old scrolling beat em ups of yesteryear and also refresh the genre with upgradeable weapons, stats and even pets!
The art style is fantastic and looks gorgeous in HD. The gameplay is fast, fun and at times quite challenging. It also has a good dose of humour thrown in too which is always a good thing.
In short its ace, if you have an xbox - go crash some castles!

Ive had a blast playing this game single player, and hope they patch the game QUICK!
Ive been trying to play over Live with a friend of mine and we are lucky if we make it through one level. Once the game attempts to go back to the Map screen we get dropped..

I've been loving this game in single player. The only multi I've played is the eating thing. I tried to play the campaign with steve and a few other people but we kept dropping. I'll probably just end up going through it in local with a few friends. Can't wait to get some good online support though

Well the good news is the developers were interviewed at PAX '08 and said they were working on a patch. The bad news is Micro$oft tends to take their time when it comes to putting their stamp of approval for distribution...
