Six, if you want to park a blog on a unique domain name to get your name out there, maybe you should do just that for now. No need to build a site and pay for hosting if you don't need to. You can always link a free blog to a domain. I'd suggest trying that before making such a big investment.

Those drunk-driving awareness ads in the video podcast - Why does the cop ask: "Sir, have you been driking tonite?" when the guys car is clearly filled with winebeermartini?! I mean--hello!?
Maybe he just likes the feeling of being surrounded by liquor but doesn't actually drink it

I was asking for two reasons. For my personal use, I'll be taking your advice, but for the school news website I'm going to use my Dad's school board clout to get the money for Squarespace :)
