I am going to post this is here because this video is really cool and quite brutal. It's from the new Blitz the league game, and is definitely worth watching. The game looks awesome and especially because I liked the old ones, I'm going to be getting this game.

I hope they drastically overpowered the chances of doing this (frequency, ease of execution, etc.) to show these things.
Looks awesome.

ahhhh...the C.S.I. effect! looks interesting, but I too hope it's not overused.
That is just awful..ly rad! :P Man, I used to love the Blitz games in the arcade. Didn't a Fighting Game have a similar bone-breaking effect in it many moons ago? I could have been hallucinating.
Woah. I may have to check out Blitz again for the first time in a long time.

I thought the last "The League" was realy bad compared to the original. I played the original alot (great community fun game), but found the league version to be too far away, gameplay wise, from the original.
I like that the trainer/medic guys were wearing short sleeved shirts in the snow.

Its just Midway's way of telling us that everyone in this game is a complete badass

If I remember right from reading the 1up preview, you have to build up the meter for injury-inducing hits by doing other dirty stuff over the course of the game, just like you built up a gamebreaker in NBA street or something.

Looks amazing, and those injuries are definitely gruesome.

Or more specifically, just like you always had to do in all the NFL Blitz games, which were doing it long before NBA Street was around.

haha, yeah or that too. I love how you can target the exact place on the player's body that you want to target and go for maximum injury in differen parts of the body. It's going to be awesome aiming right for the head (or below the belt).
