As far as Burn Notice, I believe USA is showing a Marathon on the 11th, leading up to a new episode at 10pm EDT.

OK, the opening. Out of the box. No movie or even TV. But that commercial. Hilarious beyond what I can express. You guys are truly on key with my head. Albeit a year younger.

Challenge for all challenges. Come up with some way to have an opening like "Cheers". Can take a while to capture live shows with Bar pics or Photoshop stuff. Now there is a challenge, Steve? (Honestly, My ideal "Cheers" opening....recreations of the pics. In bars, it would be truly awesome. I will fly myself out to be Cliff. My HS gym teacher always called me Cliff Claven. One of my favorite people on this planet BTW. The teacher and Claven (John Ratzenberger.) I know those pics were not the characters, but you have to admit, you targeted the people in that "Cheers" opening that would be the characters. We can do that.)

The opening was very amazing, I totally remember that commercial, even though it came out when I was a baby. And dude, the backgrounds are totally awesome too. I am so happy that I actually get all the references in the games background, cause some are tricky. It's almost kind of sad that half of each one is blocked by talking heads.

It's the result of being a smart, thinking, and (most importantly) CARING individual in a world that doesn't seem to give a damn. He's dark because *those in charge* are the cynical bastards. He lives very large because he's bored and angry and not a little bit afraid that the world isn't listening. He's mad because he gives a damn. He's dark because he's not blind. Best intro ever!! It's probably been 20 years since that PSA was on tv and I still reference it all the time (along with I do cocaine so I can work more so I can make more money)

Oh he tricked you good. Those are Steves magic special effect skills. He had to CGI pants on them all, everyone knows they always do the show in pantyhose (pink and sheer for Alex, black and lacy for Dan), except Jeff who wears leather chaps. Steve wears construction overalls.

I think Nintendo actually did a really good job implementing arcade-style baseball with 'Superstar,' and I keep waiting for people to talk about the changes, what works and what doesn't.

Jeff's take on the 'bad' Warren Ellis is exactly why I nearly gave up on Thunderbolts.

I have to throw in my 3 cents about Castle Crashers:

Like Jeff said, this isn't a singleplayer game. I played it for like 10 minutes singleplaye, and it wasn't fun. I was bored to tears.

Then I played it some more, with some friends and the conclusion I came to was this: This game isn't supposed to be played alone. Not only that, it shouldn't even be played online! This is a game for four people in the same room having a laugh. It's okay online, but it's only truly great when you play through it four people together, in the same physical space.

Try just opening a post reply box, and typing in it as you watch the show, then hit submit when you're done..... then read through the thread, to the end, and reply all at once.

Steve actually adds a blur effect to the backgrounds when he does the close-ups. It has nothing to do with being low-res - it is on purpose. :)

I get the large Xvid and then stream it using media connect with WMP 11. It's not the highest quality possible, but it's good enough for me.

Actually they do. The guys have those lines naturally whenever they move, but Steve takes them out. He also takes the little puffs of smoke out from behind their feet when they move.

It's done by artist Dan Paladin, which does other side-project along with Tom Fulp for behemoth.

SOKKA: I use a program called Painter when I draw. Not a lot of fancy layer effects or filters. What I like about it is that it simulates traditional media very well.

Second, I love this game. When I first saw it and played at my brother-in-law's house I thought it was a liitle goofy, but after I started playing it I couldn't put my controller down. When I got home I decided to download and buy it. My 7 year old and I have spent several hours running thru this adventure. Love the animation, love the 'leveling up', love the magic... this is a alot of fun :D

I have to agree with the TRS guys.... I prefer to play alone or with maybe one more person. There are times where there is so much action going on that you lose yourself and you end up mashing buttons to see where you are. Haven't tried playing this online, yet, but am enjoying playing and watching the game. Definitely worth the download!!
