Video game background

Okay, this has been killing me, I can't seem to figure out what a few things are in it. The spaceship, the castle behind the WoW portal, the flying tenticle thing, and whatever the crystal is in front of the big daddy (still haven't pplayed Bioshock so I don't know if it goes along with him).

That tenticle thing looks oddly familiar, but I can't figure it out either. The crystal seems to be from StarCraft. The Protoss side, but I forget the name. Aand that's all I can help you with since I have no idea about the others.

I'm not 100% but isn't the tentacle ship from crysis?
the normal ship, EVE?

as for the rest not really sure, not enough details or I haven't played the game they are from.

Tenticle thing at first thought an a aurora unit but then remembered those have just a single spine.
Halo Jeep way in the back another Halo structure.
Castle in the back looks like Fire Emblem but doubt that is what it's from.

The rest I can't even guess.
I like the old one better had a lot more recognizable stuff.

The Robot walking to the barrel is DOG from Half Life 2.
I'm thinking the medieval castle is from Puzzle Quest.

This background has a lot of recognizable things on it. I'm only stumped on the flying tentacle ship.

What am I supposed to be looking at? Was the image removed. Oh, and because I keep hearing people say "Flying tentacle ship" I think it might be the Medusa Jellyfish from Ecco The Dolphin: The Tides of Time.

AH!!!...I started to think it was a Nemacyst from Gears of War, but they aren't as "tentacley" as the one in the pic. Great job on them all!!!

I do like the new backgrounds, and well done to whoever created them, but is it just me or do they seem kinda washed out??? like foggy?
