Has anybody bought a game through Play-Asia.com, specifically an Xbox 360 game? I guess they have a bunch of "Region Free" games on their site, usually selling for $40 as opposed to 60.
I'm all for a cheap game, but I'm a little skeptical. I can only assume that these region free games will work just as good- on and off line- as the ones they sell at my local EB. But who can say for sure?
Does anybody have any insight?

buy from them, they're great. a very trustworthy site. and no they are not pireted, it's just that, alot of company's in asia don't make the choice to region lock. unlike U.S game dev's, that region lock everything.

I'v never bought a game off there, but I did get a screwdriver with the tri-screw nintendo security lock shape. A buddy of mine threw me in the pool with my GBASP a couple days after the thing was released and that allowed me to take it apart and dry out the components, remove the chlorine, etc. Anyways, that's beside the point, my dealings with them were prompt and professional, in my experience I'd reccomend them. The guys on Penny-Arcade reccomend them all the time also for stuff like when the ds lite came out over in japan first, so there's another plus in their column.

Play-Asia is great, I buy games and music from there all the time. Play-Asia, YesAsia, CDJapan and Amazon.co.jp are all completely legit Asian websites that specialize in selling to English speaking foreigners.

There are certain Xbox 360 games that are region free, but I don't really remember which ones they are, I'm sure a few Google searches could tell you which ones there are. But I have friends that have ordered from Play-Asia and have never been disappointed.
So to answer your question, there's nothing to be worried about, only that the game you buy may be in another language.
