Komodo Dragons - What're you talking about, Alex?!

Komodo Dragons aren't "two feet & will take off your pinky, at the worst."

They're the largest living species of lizard and the closest you'll find to a real dinosaur! They're like 6-10 feet and 160 lbs! Here are just a few things that they eat:

monkeys
wild boar
pigs
goats
deer
water buffalo

They can knock down pigs and large deer with their tails, smell a dying animal from 6 miles away, and have been known to try and startle pregnant deer in the hopes of eating the miscarried fetus! I would say these are some pretty mean mofos!

I don't even think you need a "Giant Komodo" for it to be scary. The regular ones are scary enough!

If you actually get bitten the wound will be infected right away and most likely you'll die from that if you get away from the lizard itself, provided you don't have access to a hospital or care in some other form.

Edit:
Reading up on them right now, I see that in 2005 they apparently concluded the immediate effects of a komodo biting you actually come from "mild venomation", whilst the bacteria in the komodo's mouth will cause an infection and you'll likely die within a week. So it's worse, then. :p

That is truly terrifying. Although, I would prefer the quick 18 second death of the Mansquito, over the slow bacteria-infected death of the Komodo Dragon.

I thought that too when I heard this, but not everyone has seen every episode of the Crocodile Hunter, so I didn't think much of it.
