Spore. Reviewers were disappointed.

I was really surprised at how disappointed a lot of the reviewers were with spore. I guess each stage is way too simplistic, the game's too easy and parts you put on your creature don't really affect it that much. What do you guys think? (It still got high 80s reviews) Are you turned off from buying it, or are you still pumped?

I'll probably still buy it given that disappointment was probably inevitable given how much hype there was surrounding Spore.

given the amount of hype and how long it has been hyped... I honestly can't see someone that bought into the hype not being disappointed by it. That said, I'm still on the fence. It looks great, but it's one of those games I could see playing through once and never playing again.

People were disappointed but still gave it high reviews. I think it will end up doing just fine.
