Hookah?

Just wondering if anyone here smokes the hookah. For those who don't know. Hookah is a method for smoking flavored tobacco with molasses. Its booming social thing here in Vegas.

I just saw a tv show--one of those highway patrol things. An 18 year old kid was pulled over. They asked of they could search his car and he said YES??!!! They found a whole bunch of paraphenalia, and the biggest hassle he got was a cop making fun of him because he had spent 37.50 on a bong. They busted him on possession of a CS based on the residue in the screen.

Yea it is. Cigarettes are mainly harmful because of the added 4,000 different chemicals. Hookah tobacco is only molasses and tobacco.

If you've ever seen those experiments where they show you the brown residue that stains your lungs, teeth, and walls left behind by cigarette smoke, well, i've tried the same exact experiment with hookah and there are no staining properties what so ever.

I know people that do but not for tobacco.

That's not really true I smoke American Spirits which have no added chemicals and they are just as bad as any other brand there have been some studies say they are worse.

I can't see how not inhaling tar, arsenic, ammonia, cyanide, butane, formaldehyde, and sulfuric acid can be worse than inhaling it.

Tar is from tobacco? What do you know, you learn something new everyday. But if tar is the main ingredient that causes staining, why when I blow hookah smoke trough a filter, I get no stain? Less tar? Possibly the water the smokes travels trough filters the tar?

Tar is created from the burning of tobacco. Ya might get more tar in a long setting while smoking a hookah than a pack cigarettes. Isn't tobacco in a hookah heated rather than putting a flame to it and burned? So that may make a difference.

It's really bad to smoke weed with a hookah actually, the resin can clog up the tube that goes to the mouthpiece reallly bad and they are not easy to clean.
