That would be me! My kid at college couldn't get his monitor to work. It would buzz when he plugged it in. No interface with the computer at all. Wouldn't even light up. So I drove two hours (one way) to help him fix it. Spent about thirty minutes playing with it and decided it had been damaged in the move. went and bought another one. Set it up. Worked fine. Then I went to plug the portable speakers into the back of the PC. Couldn't find the AC adapter. wait for it . . . couldn't find the AC adapter because I had mislabeled it. I had used it to plug in--that's right--the monitor!! (hey, it fit)!
