Diggnation 167 Delayed

Hey everyone,

As you may have learned in Diggnation 166, the next episode of Diggnation (episode 167) will be a delayed release. The episode will go live on Sunday, September 14th instead of the evening of Friday, September 12th.

Why? Well, we’re back in St. Louis this week to shoot the show thanks to the support from our good friends at Anheuser-Busch (most specifically, Michelob’s new Craft beers). Their sponsorship begins with episode 168, but unfortunately, we’ll shoot episode 167 out there on the 12th (the day we’d normally release). So, we want to make sure you all know ahead of time, apologize for the delay, and appreciate your patience for what we know will be a great episode.

Details would be awesome, but I'm thinking this will be a quick taping and then they head right back home. Even if there wasn't a taping for the public they should at least do a little meetup for the local fans.

I agree there needs to be some kinda event.

Another live taping at a bigger venue would be the best because i know a bunch of us including me were not allowed in to the venue the last time they were in STL because the doorman said venue was at max capacity. :<

But since tomoorows wensday an we have heard nothing. The only way this would happen is if us local STL peeps but the whole deal together.

So fellow St. Louisians are u up for the challenge???

For starters a major question needs to be answered first, do kevin & alex have time to go to a meetup? I can almost bet my life savings that the live show is a no go because of the time frame.

It would definitely be cool if we could come up with someplace that's not 21+ to meet up, hang out, etc. Anyone have any ideas? Something on the south side, maybe, since they'll be at A/B?

Hey guys - Just wanted to post a follow-up since there has been so much discussion about meeting up in St. Louis.

Unfortunately, for the same reason that episode 167 will be delayed, we're flying into and out of St. Louis on a crazy tight schedule. There are some conflicting plans earlier in the week and over the weekend that resulted in this.

We want more than anything to go chill and hang out at a bar with anyone willing to come grab a drink with us in the St. Louis area --- so it totally sucks that the turn-around is so fast and that we won't be able to do it.

Hope to see everyone sooooooooooon! We're working on putting together some meetups and additional live shows VERY soon. The next live show, of course, is all the way out in London at Future of Web Apps on October 10th. Most will be back here in the USA.

True story!
I was flying back to Boston from San Antonio last month. I checked Twitter before take off in San Antonio and saw that Alex and the TRS guys were in Dallas and headed to the airport. I figured that they'd be gone by the time I got there...and besides, probably a different airline, different terminal, etc. After getting off the plane, I checked the departure board and saw my flight to Boston was delayed. I posted about the delay on Twitter, put my phone away, look out the window of the terminal, and see Jeff, Danny, and Alex sitting against the window reading and playing on a DS Lite. Walked over, introduced myself, talked for a bit, and then left them to go have dinner. I'd have loved to hang out more, but didn't want to be "THAT GUY"...if you know what I mean.
