iPod Speakers

So I was looking for a decent set of iPod speakers for about $150 or less. I mean, I have an iPhone, but I don't mind turning on airplane mode. I was looking at this:

How big of a room? The amp seems rather lightweight. It might be OK for a dorm or small room/bedroom but I wouldn't want it to be my main system forever. It probably is OK for what it is intended for but it probably has some shortcomings that a serious sound system will not have.

This is a nice system, Cambridge Soundworks -- great for the price. I just bought one for my PC. Great sound and powerful bass. Full range sound. Better than some wimpy little iPod docking system. The cube speakers are small and can be placed around your room. They also have a cheaper set for $45, with a less powerful subwoofer.
