Hey
There any chance of being able to pick up Hak5 through Miro?
I love the fact I can leave my comp on whilst I'm out and when I get back all my favourite Rev3 shows are already sitting waiting to be watched.
Thanks

It works for me. Just did the usual Miro 'add channel'

Or you can just go to the miro guide and search for hak5. I eventually found it there. It was in miro all along!

ah cool. Thanks all. I couldn't find it under "subscription options" so I presumed it didn't have one.

Or you can just do "add channel" and add the RSS found on the rev3 site. that's pretty much all that the in-miro thing is doing anyway i think.

I can verify Miro will connect with the RSS. It took a couple tries for some reason when I did it tho.
I think the feed in Miro's guide is an old one. It stops at the Wifi pineapple episode.

Yeah. I had that problem. When I put the link in Miro for Hak5, it starts downloading every feed (e.g., quicktime, xvid, divx, etc.). Do you know what the correct link is that I can put into Miro to give me the proper feed?

We're working on getting the Hak5 Miro and iTunes added to the subscription tab on the subscriptions tab.
Stand by, we're talking with the IT staff here at Rev3 to get that remedied.
Thanks!

I just went to the subscription options, picked one of the feeds (large quicktime), and then browsed to miro on the next screen to get it picked up.
I think I tried xvid the first time, which didn't seem to work, but second try on quicktime worked fine. Might just have been miro as it isn't exactly glitch free.

Most strange. Signed up for miro to get the feed from rev3, got the first new show fine.
Never got the second new show. Still not visible in miro on sat, three days later.

Did you grab the feed off the website or off Miro's guide? The one in the guide stops at 401

It'd be funny if the Hak5 crew hacked into Rev3's servers and everyone's feeds got replaced with new eps of Hak5.
(of course, this comment is highly derivative of the commercial...which I loved BTW.)

Miro guide. I like automating this stuff, which is why I use Miro. Is there an alternative?

if you go to revision3.com/hak5 there is a 'Subscription Options' tab right below the current episode. You can choose can choose what file format and resolution (large or small). I know the quicktime-large one works. That will bring you to a page for picking what you want to open the feed with. If miro isn't in the options, you can click 'browse' and find miro. That should add it in.
If that doesn't work, Matt said they were talking to Rev3 IT about getting miro as a subscription option. Probably won't take long for that to show up.
