Yeah it was the R-1 Missile. The Soviets basically took over several V-2 Launchpads and Research Facilities in the eastern parts of Germany and decided to just build V-2's with Russian parts since that saved some costs on research.

Went trough that topic last week in history class here ;)

Cheers from Germany

Assuming R1 is the answer, this was the first guess (http://revision3.com/forum/showpost.php?p=433636&postcount=2).

Thanks guys!
R1 is the answer to episode 402's trivia. Although RichardR posted in a different thread, he was the first to get it right.
I'm thinkin we should have a Trivia thread created for each episode a bit before the episode is released, so people immediately know where to go to answer it. What do ya'll think?

Yeah, provided I'm free I will create one, alone with the show thread and give 'em a sticky.

Seeing that I can access the forum from work, I'll post a trivia thread if you havent already at the time of release :)

I think it would be great to create a trivia question that is not so easy to find in a search engine.

I was just thinking of all of the tools that Chris listed for reverse engineering. It would have been a great opportunity to have a piece of homework, that would require us to find a pattern of hex or an answer in a supplied file, needing to use those tools as an example.

I think this is a great idea. I used to do kinda crazy trivia questions like that in the first season but every time I did Wess would criticize me for making 'em too hard. Whatevs, I'll get back to the fun easter egg hunt type questions.

Of course episodes 403 and 404 have already been shot so don't expect ridiculous trivia questions for a couple weeks. :)
