alright i posted some of this stuff on another forum but ...... i dont seem to be getting much help so I figured i'd post my problem here too.

woke up this morning to turning on my pc and not being able to access the internet, not quite sure why but when i go to look into the network and internet connection uder the control panel theres nothing when i know there should be connection there. I tried creating a new one but either im not doing it right or somethings stopping me from creating a new one. Im post from another PC in my house thats connected to that same internet connection by wireless so it couldnt be the internet its self. any ideas whats going on or what I can do to fix this problem?

heres a picture of what my network folder looks like.

Hamachi if you dont already know, is just a program that emulates a network over the internet (file transfering, lan gaming) "http://www.hamachi.cc/"

and ive had hamachi on the computer forever so that has nothing to do with why its acting up. but as you can see theres no networks for the internet in that folder... I tired using the "Create a New Connection" on the left side of the window but like i stated above either i didnt do it right to make a new one or somethings stopping me from creating one.

I know your exact problem...

You don't have the correct drivers on it. I feel bad I can't help you anymore than that but that was my problem and I just called DELL and they worked me through how to put the correct ones on there. I am thinking you have the same problem. Its a driver problem.

Sorry...Hopefully you can work from there.

Did you try to re-enable/repair? Have you reset your modem (not just turning it off, actually unplugging it for about a minute and then plugging it back in)?
