New Apple iPod Announcements

ok so im thinking of getting either a classic or a 16gb touch

both (supposedly) have the same battery life
i like the spacious 120gb the classic has

but i also like the larger screen on the touch, wifi, and plentiful apps
but i don't cuz it cant hold as much music for me. i hate anything in 128 kbps so i have half of my music in apple lossless

i used to have a 30gb video but lost it and have been waiting since now to recoup my losses

to watch videos and run slideshows for fam and friends
i (mostly) just hooked it up to a tv

so im stuck between

the classic because of the greater capacity
and
the touch because of the larger screen, wifi, ...blah blah blah

any ideas?

well first of all, you might want to fix the poll. they both say classic. change the 16 gb to touch instead of classic lol


and personally, i mostly use my ipod for podcasts and i listen to music on my notebook. i also use it for storage.

id say get the touch for the internet browser and ap features...but thats just my opinion

I think it's hysterical that apple keeps getting people to buy another one of what they aready have.

I've got a 5th gen 60GB iPod and am happy with it. I think this is a decision people overlook.

Bottom line: How much do you plan to put on it? The Touch will do you no good if you plan to put more than 6GB worth of stuff on it. The Classic will be pointless if you only plan to put a few hundred songs on it.

do you know how to fix a poll?

and well i tried file storge but i tied putting like 5-8 gb flies on it but then was sadly reminded that it was running on fat32 w/ a 4gb file cap
