Diggfest

I was reading in the "Live Show Suggestions" forum, and came up with, what I could consider, a great idea.

1 word... Diggfest

I say we rent out some big field in the middle of the country, have a big ass bonfire, plenty of booze, and enough room for everyone!

I'm sure there are some Diggnation fans who play in a band who would be willing to donate their time and music to play for everyone.

We could make it an all day affair, where we all get drunk playing drinking games, listening to live music, and BBQing.

Then, after Kevin and Alex get good and drunk, they could do a live taping before the sun goes down.

It could be the annual Diggfest. Each year a different city would sponsor it.

Now, I don't know how all this would work as far as their electronics go, but how bad-ass would this be?

That sounds so awesome. With the fan base on the forums I have no doubt a Diggfest could be pulled off. The biggest real question would be deciding where to have the 1st one? :cool:

If it's Digg-sanctioned, since the under-21 crowd whines if they can't come, I think the alcohol would be out.

However, this kind of sounds like how we want our reception to go after the sun goes down. "Proper" until then, then all-out fun stuff. Only on the beach.

If y'all would wait until March 14 (Pi day!) and think a fire after the sun goes down would be fun down in Santa Barbara, then it'd be a great way to end our wedding day. :D
