it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooo

annoying!!!!!!!!

it covers up some of the content on the page and the same ad will appear multiple times

I could understand them on the website and the hosts talking about their sponsors but the banner ad is just going overboard

Instead of forcing more ads at us why not save money instead

bandwidth and storage is expensive

save money by removing the stupid "best of" videos that no one watches

the word "best" has no definition, it is different for everyone

nothing is truly best

instead of covering the video with banner ads, why not get rid of the best of in order to save money which could be used for other things

seriously

how would you feel if you were a race car driver and your sponsors plastered their logo and ads all over your windshield?

Why don't you just download the episodes? Then you won't have to worry about it.

it is a little less convenient to do

they always want people the support the shows by supporting the sponsers

but when they get too greedy and annoy the viewers then you only gets a negative effect from it

it is like videogame DRM, if you look at the reviews and articles on the game spore, you will see what angering the legit customers does( it pushed many of them to piracy)

in my area, they had these cars with giant megaphones on them trying to get us to vote for someone (i think for some government position to handle the borough or something )

but because it was so loud and they were driving around and plasting the ad at like 10 at night while I was trying to study,

the next day, I went out and voted for who ever was running against the person being advertised because of how much the ad pissed me off

I don't know how you figure that downloading is less convenient. Just subscribe to the RSS feed, and you'll get higher quality than what the flash video offers, along with no ads.

Now, as far as the sponsors go, they paid for the time. There's no other way for Rev3 to make money other than sponsor support, and still keep it free for the rest of us. It's like TV, except it's IPTV.

I think the problem lies more in the fact that you would rather complain about the ads than just download the episodes. At least they give that option.

I know thats why I said i am ok with the ads on the main site and the sponsors as with out them, we wouldn't have great shows like diggnation, systm and tekzilla

but the ads that cover the video frame when there not talking about sponsors is just annoying

another problem is the banner ad size is independent from the video so if your a PDA user then all you see is a banner ad with their voices in the background

the banner ad wouldn't be so annoying if they would just make them appear only when there talking about sponsors

and the code behind the ad system is really good if they would put it to good use

make it so when there talking about something or when ever they mention a link that appears on screen, make the video clickable like with the banner ads

I use revision 3 a lot when in college because my messed up schedule keeps me in school from 9AM- 8PM with 2-3 hour gaps in between classes (i cant go home during those breaks because by the time i get home it would be time to leave again due to the idiots running the subway being afraid to go faster than 1 mile per year on the trains and stopping for no reason in some areas

So basically they just need to work on those ads covering up lower thirds and it's all good.

I think if you make the video run in full-screen, the ads just stay on the very bottom under the actual video. I was watching Internet Superstar 2 days ago in flash in full-screen, but the Crysis Warhead ad was under the actual video which i didnt mind. Of course, I could be *and for some reason think I am* wrong. But whatever, I tried.

1440x900 is a laptop widescreen. Its just obnoxiously large in a forum thread.
