Live Diggnation on Oct 10 in London at FOWA

The last FOWA Diggnation wasn't 18+, although I had a tough time explaining to the security guards that there were no restrictions on age.
After a few minutes a supervisor came down and let my friends and me in. Luckily I just turned 18, so no problems there.

I don't think it's 18+ the last diggnation at fowa they mentioned that 17 year old who said about Adobe giving him beer.

I'll be travelling up from Canterbury and staying with family, not too arduous thankfully. Plus there's the bonus of getting a roast when I go back home :D

I was there last time, people who didn't have the pass had a bitch of a time getting into the bar after Diggnation. This time I recommend everyone getting it. Also Kevin mentioned free bar courtesy of Facebook this year on episode 169.

Hey guys, first post. I was gutted that i missed the diggnation live show in London last time around. But am definitely going this year, got my expo tickets and all.

Just wondering though, are there any students that are going? I go to University College London but are there any Kings or Queen Marys peeps going if not from UCL?

I live in birmingham but i got college that day, i can either

leave college on time (4:40pm) and rush to new street and hope to get to the train station to make the trip to london to the excel venue

most likely i would me late


OR

Considering im uptodate with my work and have yet to take a day off

i could take the day off so i have plenty of time to get there and buy a ticket to the open floor venue for £5 and then see diggnation

WHAT DO I DO?

i really want to see them because i dont know if they will be back in london or ever come to birmingham

So day off or rush it?

if theres anyone else from birmingham who are going to see them please let me know because any help in getting there (train timetables) would be helpful

I am 17, from what i know so far this is a non-age restricted place

highly doubt it but i dont really want to go back to birmingham after diggnation since...birmingham late night :S so if possible a place to crash for the night
i dont drink or do abuse any substance so im no trouble lol

As far as I know the event is for all ages but the thing afterwards at Fox has an 18 or over rule. The last email they sent said that you will be asked at the door for ID if you don't look 18 or over.

I have three of these booked for tomorrow, but will only be turning up to the expo at about 6 tomorrow evening. Does anyone know the drill for picking up passes like will someone still be there to hand them out and do i need proof of who I am etc to collect it??

He just said to go to the s4 entrance of the main bit of Excel.
There should be someone there when we get there.
