Cap'n Crunch and mouth cuttage.

Maybe I just have a super badass steel mouth or something but I've never noticed Cap'n Crunch cutting the roof of my mouth. A lot of people complain about it but it seems like a recent phenomenon that has followed mention of such a problem on Family Guy. What do you think, did anyone notice this before the episode came out? I think it's bullshit.

I've never gotte a cut mouth from Cap'n Crunch although I did get a cold sore once from the Lucky Charms elf.

Never had the roof of my mouth cut by Captain Crunch, but an errant potato chip shard did once cut that bit of skin that connects my tongue to the bottom of my mouth. It sucked.:(

I have never tried Captain Crunch, but its the way I feel about all cereals of that nature (Froot Loops, Trix, etc.). Without enough milk they scrape the roof of your mouth. Never had a "cut" though.

I think you need to limit the amount of Cap'n Crunch in your mouth at the same time. You need to equalize that milk to cereal ration, it gives lubrication and softens the cereal.
You could also pre lube the top of your mouth to increase lubrication when Cap'n Crunch is in your mouth, with things such as peanut butter or let Cap'n Crunch sit for a while to soften up.

Not the Capn, but I did cut my tongue on a lollypop.

There used to be these horrifying lollipops tha were attached to small motors so that they spun around on the axis of the stick. My brother got one when we were younger and the cracks in the pop totally thrashed his tongue. I'm pretty sure they banned it.

Several cereals have done this to me. If it's not soft enough and I chomp down, the dry bits scrape the roof of my mouth. Frosted Mini-Wheats did it to me a few days ago.
