Interesting project there. I like it's potentials, but I'm on the fence if projecting an image on the surface would mess up the finger-tip recognition or not. I would really like to see your results (even if it doesn't work), but I have a feeling that areas of high contrast (particularly small regions of dark against light background) in the projected image would register as false finger-tips.

Please keep us posted on your results both good and bad.

Also, I love watching those out-takes during the credits. Keep up the good work.

I don't think the projector overhead idea is going to work either. Plus, you will be casting a shadow on it and that will kind of ruin the experience. It needs to be rear projected.

They show what I really want to know about the computer world.
