We're going to be drinking!!!

1) Anytime someone says “hope” or “change” - We drink.
2) If Obama says “folks” - We drink
3) If McCain mentions being a POW, says or “fight” - We drink.
4) If McCain flashes that creepy smile - A shot
5) If someone mentions Osama Bin Laden or 9-11 - Finish your drink

Thoughts? Feelings?

So far its tighter than I thought it would be. I think Obama is doing better, but thats because I'm an Obama supporter. So far I don't see this changing a lot of votes.

I merged the debate talk to keep them in one place. I hope that's okay.

No thanks. Twitter is more or less keeping me satisfied.

Yeah, sorry. I assumed this was just for a link to Stickam.

Badger, that sucks. I hope you land on your feet.

That said, if anyone else wants to get through the next two debates between Mc and O in stray's condition of imbibery, I propose the John McCain debate strategy drinking game:
When John starts to smirk as soon as Obama starts to talk, take a drink (one per answer)
When John starts a reply by saying "my opponent doesn't understand/fails to understand or some varient) take a drink.
When John uses the word naive take a drink.
When John begins a sentence or independent clause with the phrase :I've been to . . ." take a drink.

We will have new rules for the second question, but you will be too drunk to read them.

are you trying to kill me bigshot?!

That said last night was fun and I'm not dead or sick. So...yea big fail.

Obama and McCain tied and I'm slightly (ok...REALLY) pissed at both for being incompetent demagogues. I don't want to vote for either. Screw this I'm going home :-p.

Is this still the thread we're using? If it is can a mod change the title to something more relevant? "Debates" or something.

Anyways, I would say Biden one tonight. Mostly because he was better at distinguishing himself from Obama. Stood up for him, but realized he wasn't him.

Pretty close though. I think both of them handled themselves FAIRLY well, and if it wasn't for my leanings I might see things differently. Republicans are going to think Palin one this, Dems will say the same of Biden. Don't think anyone was too clear a winner.
