potato salad recipe?

just started boiling tater chunks for tater salad, yeah, I know. Summer is over, but such an easy side dish. Gonna drain em, and mix it up later when they cool. Any one have any fun ideas to mix in?

crumbles. I ABSOLUTELY love the way you replied, awesome. I DO already have all the basics, though I'm not sure what's in the can in the last one, mustard powder?

I got all that stuff, but was wondering If anyone tanged it up with something different.
I got a "secret ingredient" for mararoni salad, but not tater salad.

Is that dill, rokov? I like dill in the macaroni. Actually my secret incredient is dribbling clausen Kosher dill juice in with it.

Never put dill in tater salad though. And don't have any. Hmm. Might wait til tomorrow and buy that, and what ever else you folks come up with.

I did buy my fave Kosiosko Beer Mustard for it, though, today. Yum.

It is dill and it works great in potato salad. It balances nicely with the salty/sweet flavor of the mayo.

Oh, and pass on the peas. Never seen peas in tater salad. Must be a regional thing. sometimes I put incredibly thin slices of these in for crunch.

Definately add in the mustard. Not powder ... a generous dollop of good mustard (not the nasty Frenchs Yellow crap). A couple of drops of tabasco go well too.

tater salad came out great, but didn't do anything exotic with it. The Kosiosko mustard and Spike tanged it up nice.

Now, making Macaroni salad tomorrow. New thread? or just continue here? (maybe this should be the general "salad" thread? 'Cause I gotta killer tomato salad recipe that I know will your socks off) And I promise not to make any "toss your salad" jokes.
