Ok, I know the forums are only a day old, but I've got a few things to say, and request. But first off, the design is pure sex, lovin it. That being said, time for my complaints and suggestions.
1. There seems to be a HELL of a lot of bugs in the forum. I'm willing to bet that's because the guys at R3 were under pressure to get the new forum up and have released it before it's 100% tested, coded, and working. I think that was a bit of a bad move. I personally woruld NEVER release anything if it's less than 100% tested and working, I just think that's being professional. I think they should have left up the old ones until this new one was complete.
2. Can we please get a mod team up asap? The new forums are less than 24 hours old, and already we've got at least 3 spam topics alone in the Geekdrome forum, not to mention all the topics about the new forum that have been posted in the wrong forum section. We need to set up a mod team as soon as we can, plz.
I will hopefully post more later, as now I need to leave for something. Discuss please. Especially people affiliated with Revision 3.

Quick reply is not working. And yes mod team needed. And also when I submit a post I get an error but the post still submits.

Thank you for making this thread. I am part of the moderating team, even we can't get in, we're trying to work on it so bare with us and the growing pains :)
Let's keep all problems in this thread, ok?
Yes there are many problems
-REPLIES TO THREADS GOING INTO MORE THAN ONE PAGE DO NOT SHOW BUT ARE THERE.
- Quick Reply doesn't work.
-Error given when replies are posted, but replies go through.
-Replies don't show up.
-Confirmation email is messed up.
-the number of posts do not show up under the users name.
-Also, when you click a persons name from the forum index, it gives an error saying that you should contact the admin.
-No Avatars.
-the session timeout is EXTREMELY short
-Try deleting one of your own posts and tell me if YOU can read that gray-on-green text.
Anything more, keep it here. Yes we know people are having trouble logging in. Anything major, send me an email, evan at scopetech dot net. In the meantime, you can hang out around Scopetech's Forums (http://www.scopetech.net/forums/index.php?act=idx). That's double_d's forums, if you didn't know. I am samureye over there and you can get updates over there. If anything elese, you can shoot an email, evan at scopetech dot net, but don't ask me to enable your account, I can't help you there yet. Anything major though, you have my contact.
I'm working on my own at the moment, bear with me/us:)
-Evan
Edit: Updated, thanks klitzy :) I want a new pair of hands, I am tired typing! Hehe.
Updated Again. Thank you.
@Tribis: I get that same error. I'm assuming it is already on the To Do list and will be fixes soon enough.
EDIT: It is already on the To Do list, thanks. Scopetech.

As posted in a totally new thread, the number of posts do not show up under the users name. Also, when you click a persons name from the forum index, it gives an error saying that you should contact the admin.
Thanks
EDIT:Also, the avatar issue....Not sure if there is a problem with it, or if Im just plum retarded

Try deleting one of your own posts and tell me if YOU can read that gray-on-green text. I sure can't. I have to hilight all the text like a spoiler font. Annoying.
Also, is there a way to set the quick reply box to always be on?

another problem I found that nobody replied with, the session timeout is EXTREMELY short. I was gone for all of 5 minutes and it logged me as offline as opposed to inactive.
@Diala, I'm guessing the gray on green text was simply a bit of CSS over looked. I noticed it aswell when editing a post.

My problems:
The dromers don't want no fu-cking moderators on the geekdrome forums. We've been droming without moderators since day 1. The only reason we would ever need mods is to keep the spammers out.
This may be a bug, but when I tried to log in once, it told me to wait fifteen minutes. Did that three times.

You're not retarded... if this works anything like the "Fuselage" forums, you have a probation period where you have to either have a certain number of posts or have been a member for yea long before you can add an avatar.

yes, what diela said, and will profanity always be censored? because we've had a great run in the old Geekdrome forums with everyone saying anything and everything they want without anything even close to a moderator, it was like having a lot of group conversations where anything said was later apologized for or was discounted by the masses. that being said, is there anyway to make suggestions or maybe an official set of rules for a single forum, or will we have to be censored and maybe even have some of our opinions deleted?
it works 20x quicker, though. that's an up.

Geekdrome doesn't run Rev3, you will have mods such as myself, but we're cool, give us a chance at least. Keep them coming guys, I will update.

I think there are problems showing threads with more than one page, I made a reply about the no moderator comment and I am not seeing replies.

my biggest problem is that i can't post on the problems thread. here's what i've posted 7 times in case this goes through:

This is a Vbull / rev3 forum correct?
Im just wondering why some of these things are not working correctly, when out of the box should be fine.....
I love the look and everything so far.
I do wish the old post counts, user accounts, etc were ported over.
good luck.

I'm having numerous problems.
1. Whenever I post a reply/submission I get an allocation error.
2. Some of my replies aren't showing up.
3. Number of replies/views aren't proper.
4. Quick reply doesn't work.
I don't know what other problems there are but I'm sure there is several others =/

This should be stickied till all the glitches are out. Since I no longer had the link in the Geekdrome profanity thread to use to get here, I had to look for quite a while to find this.
Alternate skins would be nice, but not necessary. I'm OLD, and my eyes were never that good to begin with.
And can you please explain the logic behind the fact that I can't have a graphic in my signature, but I can post all the images I want? I can understand not wanting to see a million "Me too" posts with ten graphics in the signature, but we're grown up enough that if we post a guideline of only one or two graphics allowed, we can police amonst ourselves and keep the retardedness down to a minimum. I for one would like to have my XboxLive and Xfire signature bars in mine. It would save on the inevitable "Post your XboxLive handle here" threads.
