something more akin to the following than to the 1-2 game TRS reviews.

i want LOTS of game footage, developer interviews (SF has a shit ton of game devs, and a bunch more on the west coast within day trip range), industry insider interviews (veronica goes into the PC gamer offices to do her PS3 show for instance--why not ask what its like to be in the gaming press), or take a trip to the Nvidia HQ and see whats up there, game spotlights, segments on gamer hardware or hardware tweaking, hardware reviews, game previews, game reviews, coverage of all the major Expos (e3-lite, pax, gdc, blizzcon, quakecon, comicon-- i will admit that TRS does do this aspect pretty well - but they only do some of the expos. i'd love to see coverage of blizzcon, etc.) The possibilities are endless.

one of the easiest parts of making this show is that it would require a minimal set since most of it would be in game footage or off set recordings. in a perfect world this show would be devoted to PC gaming, but if it's for all gaming, that would be fine too.

also, i know this idea has been suggested before, but couldnt find one in this forum. (and for some unknown reason rev3 hasnt decided to jump on the ball yet)

They already have sets built. It's not like Tekzilla or any of the other shows are filming 24/7. A video game show would be cool. They can cover PC gaming and console gaming, test video cards, interview game designers and programmers, etc.. Sort of like the '1up Yours' audio podcast.

I'd love to see this as well! The TRS guys do a great job with their game reviews but I would love to see a whole show on gaming. Maybe pull the gaming section out of TRS completely and make it a dedicated show, or just have them do console only.

Personally, I would prefer to have a PC-only gaming show since most of the gaming media tends to be more console focused (from what I've seen at least).

What do the rest of you think?

Why not Game Damage (http://www.gamedamage.net)? It's brand-new and the pilot only premiered two days ago. It also stars Zero Punctuation creator Yahtzee. This would be perfect.
