Domain Forwarding Question

I had a quick question that hopefully someone could answer for me.
I was interested in purchasing my name as a domain from either GoDaddy or Domain.com. Currently, I don't really intend to do anything with it except point to my blog which is being hosted on blogspot.com. (Sometime down the road I may decide to do something more with the domain) If I set up the domain with domain forwarding, will I need to purchase any sort of hosting plan, or will the $10/yr I paid for registration be enough? Thanks a lot. I hope that was clear enough.

The short answer is yes. That $10/yr will get you a domain, but you must forward it to a server that will give visitors a website. However if you use it for your blogger account you won't need a server since you are using google's. When you buy server space from a hosting company there are many options to choose from, just make sure the host has good support and the features you need.
