Blackberry Storm 9500

Engadget did a hands-on with it [here (http://www.engadget.com/2008/10/08/blackberry-storm-9500-hands-on/)], and it looks more amazing than I even expected, at least for business users [like you token :)]. I was worried about the haptic stuff they were talking about way back, but apparently they went with being able to actually click the screen. I wish I could have this phone SOSOSO much, but I'm on my parents' plan and it's probably gonna cost an arm and a leg. Maybe someday.....

Anyways, just wanted to start a thread to get other peoples' thoughts on this phone, and how it might effect the iPhone and its sales, if at all.

If I was on Verizon I would seriously look at it. Sounds nice.

Yay. Still waiting ... need a price, but I'll be picking one up as soon as its released. Well, maybe within a week or so - Crackberry addicts aren't rabid fanbois like Apple users ... we enjoy our sleep and have better things to do that stand in line for 10 hours FOR A FREAKING CELLPHONE.

Only downside I see currently is the lack of Wifi, but to be honest using EVDO is pretty damn quick anyway. Not Wifi speed, but certainly DSL (and many hotspots are connected via DSL ... so you are getting the "net throughput speed", just a slower connection to the AP).
