Qore complaint

Now I don't know if anybody has brought this up but I paid 2.99 for the 1st edition of Qore for the sole purpose of the Socom beta! It is now October 9th and no beta. I am one of the biggest PS3 fans here but I have to say this is very disappointing. Anybody else go through this!?!:mad:

interesting, I got an email about the beta with a key to get in like 3 weeks ago...

I also got the email. The email also states that you wont' see the Socom beta from the link within Qore where you'd expect it.

I didn't actually try out the beta since my PS3 has been boxed up since the move waiting on my new entertainment center/speaker purchase and installation before I actually set up most of my equipment.

I downloaded the first issue of Qore. Now, I love me some Veronica-Bee. But, the $2.99 download is hardly worth it for promotional material that's available elsewhere for the digging. At least, not to me. I can see that fan kids might be really into it though, and a 40-year old college professor isn't their target audience.

As a 27-year old, paying $25 for a subscription was not a bad deal considering I got into the SOCOM beta, will be guaranteed into the R2 beta, and so on.. Plus I got a $10 game that I didn't already own, so really, I paid about $1.15 per episode.. My math tells me it's not a bad deal.


Anyhow.. Check your spam filter... Emails for SOCOM beta went out long ago.

Maybe I didn't get it cause im getting Qore at an issue at a time. I would have gotten the year subscription just each time I want to pay the 25 bucks I don't have it. It's not all bad though watching Veronica is quite enjoyable.

Did you check your spam though? Or have you tried contacting Sony? I'm pretty sure it wasn't a subscriber-only thing, you just needed Episode 1.

Edit: I wouldn't worry too much though, unless you're a previous SOCOM fan. I didn't like it, didn't play it for long, won't be buying it.

Twenty Five bucks is a box of diapers around here. I think I'd go for the yearly subscription if I had more time to watch.

I thought the beta was excellent. I've never owned a SOCOM game but have seen all of them. This game has EXCELLENT graphics and the over-the-shoulder camera view works perfectly. If you liked any of the previous SOCOMs then you'll love this one and should definitely pick it up.

I'm not big into the tactical shooters. I've never been much of a chess player.

The graphics aren't as good as you say. Not on a high-def TV, at least.

Glad you like it though. You get that headset bundle and the game ends up being super cheap.

I much prefer GRAW2 to SOCOM, myself.
