I am in New York State, and most of the time I cannot access iLounge.com. I don't thinks its my IP since this happened when I had Verizon DSL and now with Cable. It didn't work over my college's network either. Does anyone know the cause and a possible solution to this?

Not that this really belongs here, but anyway ...

ilounge.com - sometimes accessible.
www.ilounge.com - always accessible.

Some DNS servers do the resolution for you, adding in the www at the beginning if the site not found. Most do not. A number of browsers do it as well - but not all.

Long story short ... if in doubt, put the www in the beginning.

The www. in front does not help.

That website wouldn't load for me at first. It timed out. The second time I tried, it went through very quickly. I bet the problem is on their end.

Reloading does not help either, I have tried this on multiple days and if the site were down for this long it would have made the news. Also, how is this not appropriate for Tekzilla's forum, it's a tech question about accessing a website I can't reach over my connection. I would go to the forums on the specific website except you know, I CAN'T REACH IT.
