If you add up the post count of each of the 14 visible forums to the total post count on the bottom of the main forum page, there's a discrepancy of ~35 posts.

In the forum I moderate we have a hidden staff lounge... where we plot to ban people and the like...:p

I know vBulletin and phpBB2 doesn't remove the hidden forum's post count from the total post count of the entire forum.

My Guess: Hidden Mod/Admin section, if it were the Trashcan (or whatever vBulletin calls it), then it'd be one of the first sections created - not the 18th :P

It's the moderator forum. I remember seeing a moderator say something about it in a post yesterday. And most forums have them anyway, so it doesn't surprise me.

the main forum I admin at has 3 hidden mod forums and an archives forum for those we want out of the public eye but not necessarily deleted. its not unusual

(Oh yeah, there is a mod lounge forum, where we are plotting how to keep the regular users under constant surveilance and scrutiny, and also trying to figure out what the combination is for the liquor cabinet in Kevin's office).
You know, while you and the other mods might be joking, some of your actions give a bit of validity to those jokes. I mean 'you' as a whole.
