I seriously think that "awesome" is the most overused word in the American language. Learn some new words, please?

How about when people say: "A whole nother." That makes me want to punch myself in the face.

I don't care ... just don't ask where "something is at" ... or end every sentence sounding like a question?

I think the word "hate" is one of the most overused and least understood words in the world. To me, hate is more than just it's dictionary definition. It is a concept, quite possibly the worst concept in our society.

So when I hear people casually say they hate a person, or even worse, when directing hate towards inanimate objects or corporations, to me it dumbs down the word and lessens the true meaning of it.

I may throw around F bombs and other "bad" words like a drunken sailor, but "hate" is not one of them.

I hate no one and no thing. No man is my enemy.

I can't stand hearing sentences ending in prepositions or the incorrect usage of "who" versus "whom." I sometimes ignore these rules to not sound stuck-up, but it alloys the hell out of me!

I can't stand saying "Whom". It just feels too awkward, becuase no one uses it anymore. It makes me sound too pedantic.

It makes me sound too pedantic.Ba hahaha! You just reminded me of this:

Peter: "Well, Lois, I find this food to be rather shallow and pedantic."
