(Serious)Kevin Rose should be Apples Next CEO.

I don't pretend to be overly intelligent, but i will expand.

In a lot of ways he is like Steve Jobs himself.

They both have extraordinary vision, and have both been successful at seeing the future of
various technological markets.(astronomical monetary difference, but success is success)

Kevin has allready drank the apple cool-aid.

The current generation knows of Kevin and knows what he is capable of. If the board members of apple
need someone they can bolster to their shareholders & wall street, it would be someone like Kevin.

When Steve steps down or crosses-over, whichever comes first, they need to have someone like Kevin allready
at apple being mentored by Jobs, and allready in charge of a product line to prove himself. Maybe the stock
won't drop so much if wallstreet recognizes there is another leader with vision at the helm.

I have a list of caveats in my head allready, but I don't feel like typing them out.
So if you disagree, that is fine of course, just assume i countered it with either witty or intelligent banter.
And if you make a particularly astute point, assume that I agree with you.

although most will not beleive me due to this post, i'm not particularly a kevin rose fanboi, but he seems like an allright guy.

Allthough I do agree with some of your comments and I agree that Kevin could be a good spokesperson for Apple, I don't think I could ever see it. Sure Kevin apeals to the 'new generation' of mac users and people who have never used a mac before, but I don't think Apple would go for someone like that.

My reasons for saying that is because the events where all the products are announced are for the media. Sure they are filmed but thars only due to they aim there scripts at the media not the consummers. Personally I can see Jonny Ives as the next 'Steve'. Maybe that i just me or its because i'm English and i am supporting a fellow Englishman but I thought he spoke well and clear and didn't feel uncomfotable there like other have done.

Thats just my 2 cents though
