I just ordered a Woo3+ headphone amp to complement my beyer 880 dt's, so I've been pouring some money into this 'sound' thing. I went back and watched the episode about hp amps, and would like it if patrick tried making the dac or amp. I gave up building my own amp to get the Woo3+, and am interested to see how well homemade amps would fare against professionally-made or manufactured ones. I'm also interested to see how a soundcard (like an x-fi) would compare to an outboard dac.

Anybody else into headphones? What's your setup?
