It seems that the tip was not tried. Command-C is the standard keyboard shortcut for the copy command. Am I missing something?

You need Spaces activated, as in, hit F8 so you see all the desktops in a grid (as it shows in the vid).

Additionally, CMD-C is not needed; pressing C is all that is needed to toggle the window collection. Also, if you collect the windows into space 1, then deactivate spaces, you cannot toggle the windows back to their once original window space.
