So, I'm posting this to let you all know how bad ass J!NX really is.

Disclaimer to TRS Fans: This story is really just to let you all know how cool
J!NX is and that they're a great place to buy stuff from and have great
customer service. It's not a story to tell you all to try to get free stuff from
them because in all honestly what happens in this story was a total & random
accident on my part.
Disclaimer to J!NX: I'm telling this story to give you and your customer service
and employees massive props. I've included these disclaimers as I want people
to know how bad ass you are, but don't want people to take advantage of
your bad assedness.

Here we go. I am a freelance designer with a wife who has some health issues at the moment. She's working a part time job for insurance purposes, but let's just say all the money she makes is going to health care at the moment. So I'm the bread winner... Yay!
I never buy myself shit unless it has to do with work (computer related, software, new mouse, etc.) and we do have some fun sometimes (go out to eat, movies) but for the most part I'd consider us... well not 'poor'... you get it right... we get by just fine... basically cuz I don't buy myself shit (see above).
So I've wanted some new shirts & a new hoodie for a while and really love the TRS merch on J!NX so I decided to buy the new t-shirt design & the zip up hoodie. I got them at the beginning of the week and got to wear the hoodie that night.
The next day I threw it on to go help my wife with laundry, and after carrying the last basket in to the laundromat noticed my hands were all wet. Someone hadn't put the cap on the bleach right and bleach had splashed all over the arms & front of my new TRS hoodie. Yeah, I was a bit pissed. 2nd day having it an it's fucking ruined right.
So when I got home I sent the TRS guys an email with this horrible anecdotal story as I thought possibly they would think it was funny (or horrible... or horribly funny... I was trying to make it horribly funny to make myself feel better.)
Well, I'm not sure exactly how, but when I sent the email off I sent it to J!NX. Well not 2 hours later I got an email from a J!NX staff member letting me know I accidentally sent them the email and not TRS. She informed me that she indeed thought my situation was indeed 'Totally UN-Rad' and sucked badly. She then said that they at J!NX, knowing themselves to be just as cool as the TRS crew would love to send me a new, unbleached hoodie for free. I was absolutely stunned. Not only have I dealt with companies before who sent me shit that was messed up when I took it out of the box and wouldn't even exchange it, but never had I had a company commiserate with me enough to just send me a replacement out of the goodness of their hearts.
Well, I will most obviously be supporting J!NX from now on at a semi-regular basis... buying stuff there when I can afford to (or next time I fuck up a hoodie).
The moral of the story is YOU ALL should support them, and the TRS guys and go buy tons of merch... they deserve it and so do you... treat yourselves to a... treat. :P
