I have a question about buying an iPhone on ebay.

If I were to purchase an iphone on ebay, would I be able to take that phone to Att and get my current plan transferred over to the iphone? Or could I just put my SIM card from my current phone into the iphone and have it start working right away? Or will it simply not work?

Note: The plan I have on my current phone is pretty much one of the plans for the iPhone. It has the unlimited data and all that, the only difference is that I am paying the same price as one of the plans only that I get unlimited N&Ws.

I don't think I'd buy a used iPhone. The new ones are only $199 and would have a warranty, and you wouldn't have to worry about activation issues. Plus you probably wouldn't save much money anyway. I've seen people pay more for crap on ebay than the item costs BRAND new. Look at Roku Netflix players on ebay. I've seen them go for $110 on ebay and they only cost $99 brand new.
