Any one know of a good wifi monitor? I'm looking for something like http://www.wirelessmon.com/ but doesn't cost anything to keep using. This seems to be a decent lil feller but unfortunately it costs cash and I'm rather cheap. :) I did manage to go from 15% avg to 45%+ signal strength. Your mileage may very but I thought I would share and see if any one has a better suggestion.

For Vista and XP x64 InSSIDer (http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider)
Or for an older OS the old classic NetStumbler (http://www.netstumbler.com/)

i use network stumbler (netstumbler)
if so, be sure to understand the SNR, cause that will tell you in a simple way your signal. netstumbler also tells you interference (red bars) for that channel. netstumbler is good if you want to monitor your network or wardrive. if you just want to know and keep track of your signal, you should use something more simple

Just remember netstumbler doesn't work in Vista or XPx64.
