Number of posts/replies

I am probably sure that you already know this scopetech but I figure I will follow the trent and go ahead and post a problem. The number of posts per user is not working as well as the number of replies and who replied.

I understand your frustration, I am a tad bit annoyed as well, heh. We only get to beta test this site the night before launch, needless to say it wasn't nearly enough time and I just realised my responses weren't showing up at times. I wil make a single thread for you guys to put up any problems you have.

The number of replies or the view count of a thread doesn't show up immediately, because I believe the boards cache some of that info to save server resources. It's much easier on sever load to cache that info, and have it updated only say, every 15 minutes, rather than each time a page is refreshed.

It is never showing up though. It is not a cache issue because if a new topic is posted then the previous posts would have a post count.

I am just guessing that their is a setting that the admin set that stops members from obtaining a personal post count. This may have messed with the total post count.

yeah i noticed this problem too. also whenever i submit a post or make a reply i get an error but it still posts
